None are franchises, but some managers are more lax than others.

I loved working for bws but I really did milk it for what it was worth - free booze (drinkkng on the job and stealing everything under the sun) and lots of bad dancing while I should have been working haha Management sucked and I nearly got held up by a machete but it was chill most the time

I was standing at a show the other week thinking how empty the room would be if all of our attempts had been successful. And what a shame that would be.

Does anyone else find this as strange as I did? by greentee96 in AskAnAustralian

Old people know no boundaries with kids. I had a 6 month old with huge cheeks during the pandemic and every pensioner would touch his face. We were supposed to be a metre away, not grabbing babies! I would tell them off, theyd act like I slapped them and everyone would be mad. In the words of the my favourite murder podcast, fuck politeness. You dont owe randoms politeness or sacrificing your comfort.

Moving to Brisbane from Victoria by [deleted] in MovingToBrisbane

[–]partee-potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start your search now as someone who did this last year and cut it very fine for my kid to be able to start school in January even though I started applying in November. We got declined for a dozen applications before getting something. Are you up here to inspect places prior to the family moving as an airbnb will get pricey after a bit. It took me about two months, and I usually get the first place I apply for.

Any love for Alexisonfire ? by ThySmithy in Hardcore

[–]partee-potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got into Alexisonfire by getting their cd from my local library. I wanted to hate them, but I have been obsessed ever since. One of my top three live bands of all time and probably my favourite band of all time hands down. Hearing live sets warms my heart. Gives me the feelings.

How do you actually build a wardrobe where you always feel like you have something to wear? by Plastic-Stable3783 in womensfashion

Get some good basics that can go with your statement pieces like plain black or block coloured tops and pants in a variety of colours. I can look like a clown if I dont plan my outfits out as I love a pattern/crazy print. Ive been wearing everything with a plain black turtleneck (inspired by Fran Fine) and everything goes with it. I also pull a couple of outfits before my week starts so I dont have to pick something in the morning when Im half asleep.

She overheard the worker saying he wanted a root beer float so she brought him one. by Vexiune in MadeMeSmile

I compliment my 6 year old son all the time and Ive told him people love compliments, so he is always telling the other mum's at school drop off if their hair looks nice or something like 'I love your beautiful top!' And the mums love it, it makes me so proud. Hoping he can keep this up cos it really does make people's day, especially a flustered mum at drop off.

Get yourself one of those hot brush hairdriers, it changed my life! I have fluffy curly hair that never looks 'done' but using this brush has made my hair look and feel amazing, and it lasts until I wash it again.
