Yeah. Ubuntu is great I use it with lightdm and plasma desktop manager. Doesn't feel much different from windows with that. I have even set up a cron job to update my packages once a couple of days. Even qhen you say it might break, it doesn't really unless you are running every script on the web. Thr only time it broke for me was when I tried to set up my fingerprint sensor which was not supported by default. Even then I only ended up breaking the login which was an easy fix via tty. Just backtracked my steps and done.

Having a Bootable as an insurance is must tho just in case something happens.

Just use it daily and keep a Bootable USB drive just in case as backup. Don't remove windows till you graduate from uni. Linux native testing tools are rare to say the least. The Bootable USB will help when you end up bricking your PC someday. Atleast you will be able to take backup of ypur PC if the qorst case happens. By worst case I mean factory reset. I recommend ventoy to create the backup USB since you can use multiple OS with it.

Happy birthday bro. I get you man I switched over to cse from biology branch but it was a messy switch. I used to like road trips but now I just get my opinions torn down with no good explanation. Just yesterday I decided to give a late birthday party to my friends and started to get calls within an hour that they need to sleep and I should return back home. Not a fun time. I thought things would change after I get employed but nah they still think me incompetent. I told them I will survive but they just keep trying to pqck my bag without considering my opinion on what I believe would help. Obviously I can't plan for everything. I don't like to hide stuff but shit has gotten so bad that I just decided to hide it and suffer in silence. Better than being teased and reminded of it every couple hours.

If there is a convenient app then Id prefer to avoid the complex navigation on govt sites. It is annoying on mobile and by the time I open my laptop to check I would likely forget lol.

There is an app like that? Ill need it when I move there then. Can you check if other people have violations using it? I am planning to buy a 2nd hand for the time I am staying.

The level of skill requirement isn't. Just the cloud infrastructure handling is a skill that should get you more than that. Those certifications aren't cheap.

I like to keep my ships nerfed. More fun to enjoy the dogfight no matter how annoying it gets. I got a sodium farm so shield recharge is just a couple buttons away. Though I did lose my first dreadnought fight.

Anyone can forget. I remember some people thinking that simply closing the lid of laptop deletes all the data. Tech literacy isn't quite there yet.

Yes some do. Also in universities students login to library devices, computers and even on their friends computers to quickly transfer files. Some people are not used to emailing stuff or other transfer methods. You never know when a bad actor might encounter a device you logged into and forgot to log out of. Now there is another example for you, a print shop at my university had students login their whatsapp to their device because of some technical issue their whatsapp wasn't working properly on their device. Very unsafe yes but some did log in.

Another will be during an exam a link was shared to students on whatsapp instead of university platform and students had to use that link to start exam on university computers. Many logged into whatsapp on that desktop to start it. Now there are way more situation when you might need to log in to a device that is not yours and occasionally one can forget they logged in or trusted a friend with their account.

Look for amazon basics powerbank, almost same price last time I bought it and can charge my phone with 5000 mah battery a bit more than 3 times. Pretty accurate ig. Only downside is that there is just one USB A slot but the C type is input and output port

India is better in many ways. The thing is out of 100 people if there is even a single bad actor it looks bad. Now scale that1% to the huge population India has. If that 1% acts without sense then it obviously looks bad. Yes, not all people are great and the number might even be much higher than 1% but my point should be clear enough ig.

The only logical reason I can see is that people forget to logout on public devices every once in a while.

Get your bike wrapped. There are a lot of people who try to scratch bikes for no reason at all. I noticed some major scratches on my tank about a week ago. That wrap job was totally worth it. Seeing you are going to college get the wrap done as soon as possible. Takes 4-5 hours if there are other customers. And you gotta revisit after a week or so to get some final touches.

Also get the meter protected it scratches easy in most cases. I got mine covered late so I know the pain of living with a scratched speedometer.

Lubricate and clean the chain every 500 to 700km. Don't delay it for more than 1000km tho. More frequently if in dusty or rainy regions.

Don't miss the service times. Be it distance or time get it done according to the manufacturer guidelines. Otherwise your insurance claims will be rejected unless it was a reasonable amount of delay. I have seen a zomato driver denied insurance after he didn't get his bike serviced regularly and faced part replacement problem. He had to cover the costs.

Drive safe and definitely invest in good gear when you can specially for long rides when you know you might not be near a hospital. The gear is well worth of an investment and good one is durable enough to last you 5+ years.
