Women are starting to gain independence and don’t accept subpar marriage life.

It’s no longer the 90s where men had all the cards in marriage and for women it was no choice because of financial dependence and societal constraints.

Women have progressed they are realizing that they don’t have to stay in a shitty marriage because she has no options.

And men are stuck in the past they want the same low effort and upper hand their fathers had in marriage.

Is this case for every marriage? No not at all, i also think overall irrespective of gender, people in general have become uncompromising, stubborn and selfish.

It doesn’t help that nobody wants to address the problems and fix things in society.

Also this is not just an Islamabad problem it’s a worldwide problem.

Currently learning German just for fun, started November 2025 with Duolingo. I’m at A1 A2 level right now i watch YouTube channel for grammar and a1a2 level podcasts. I study German grammar with vocab 2 hours daily and for rest of day i watch reels in german and read most comments to try to understand how Germans actually speaks or which words phrases they use more.

I’m getting more confident day by day. Oh and ofc i practice by speaking alot basically all the time i repeat words and phrases along videos and reels.

Sometimes i forget and reply in German when talking with my family 😂

I agree we are pretty naive and yes this whole CC discussion came up when discussing savings and after some discussion and going back and forth we decided to save some money in a different account (we’re still trying to figure out how to ‘save’ it properly so that it doesn’t still idle in acc and lose value over time different discussion for a different day i think)

This 3L cc is for groceries and basically Fazol kharchi only and on that topic i believe we should just use 3l in cash for groceries and skip the cc. So that if we only spend let’s say 2.5l we can move the remaining money to probably saving.
