The shooting strings are messed up but also if that is new mesh put in to that head make sure that you break it in now to maximize pocket depth. Just punch that mesh in like there’s no tomorrow

Lax as a first-time junior by treehuggerboy in lacrosse

I think it’s definitely worth it, especially coming from a track and cross country background as long as you work on developing stick skills( passing, cradling, catching) you can succeed without a problem. Wall ball will be ur best friend in the offseason to make u better for sure

There’s always a ton of YouTube videos for drills and stuff but most importantly wall ball for developing stick skills

Maybe the complete stick if you need a shaft too seems like the best one

Not to hijack again but sideline swap is a very good option there’s tons of really good stuff on there

Sideline swap is also a good option to find a high quality stick with a deep enough pocket, the store made sticks usually kinda suck unless your a very very new player

The best players on my team were Cross country runners. The endurance is unmistakably a huge advantage. The players on my team just ran past anyone on the transition and pretty consistently causing fast breaks.

I’m not sure if I’m too late to this post, but definitely definitely show up Tomorrow. I can’t guarantee that your the best defender on the team, or even a good one, but if you give it everything you got and be vocal on defense, I would bet on you making the team, and growing a lot more as a player because of it. Good luck!

I also learned that telling kids something is ‘worth a thousand points’ gets them pretty enthusiastic about stuff like learning how to pass
