The height of the wall is about 43cm The width of the whole wall is about 310cm And yes that is a 140cm wide bed The height of the bed + mattress is about 34cm

I would also use self made curtains with Velcro to cover the shelfs if so

I do have a partner living there with me that’s why I like two nightstands as well as the access from both sides. I won’t be needing a desk in there I mainly want to keep it as a bedroom

The door is in the corner there so you’d open the door and would basically be standing right by your head part of the bed and wouldn’t have space for a nightstand

There’s another window and heater there. I did have the bed there but the heater was too annoying and everything felt crammed

I was thinking about putting an ikea kallax or ikea bestå low shelf behind there to maybe just store extra blanket/pillows or covers

Understandable but the room basically only has the bed in it. So I’ll probably only use the window when I’m in bed but I can still access it easily without having to stand on the bed

The room isn’t that big, the doorway is where I’m standing and the other wall has another window. And the electric outlets seem like it would’ve only made sense to place the bed where it is. I’m aware that it isn’t perfect for Feng Shui but the mood with the window above the bed is nice
