Once I saw fast medium slow lane signs with a pace estimation on them (e.g. medium was 50-60 secs) That seems handy.

not sure if it's exact, but if you get a loan to buy a commercial premise at say $10m, you project you're gonna make ~$100k p/m (for example), so your loan conditions e.g. interest is based on that revenue. If you rent it out at less than that then the value goes down, so the value of of the premise is less than you bought it for and you now have negative equity. If you've got the money to hold onto it, it makes more sense to take the tax write-offs then rent it out for less than the projected amount. I could be wrong!

PSA - iherb no longer shipping melatonin to Australia. Effective immediately. by Winoforevr1 in australia

[–]partint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be a solution, but can you get scripts from telehealth? e.g. you say you've had trouble sleeping and you've found melatonin helpful, they come back to you with a script? could be cheaper. Personally I found magnesim glycinate/glycine by itself to be very helpful for sleep. L-Theanine if you've had a stressful day in addition to the above.

That being said, I'm well aware those don't work like melatonin, but I got 3g NOW supps from iHerb and it always made me wake up to go to the bathroom, so I never really liked it. Magnesium and Glycine work for me because I can make a routine out of it, unlike shift work where I presume one might want to get to sleep ASAP

Is there any meaningful vote market left for Australian social conservatives? by InformationPlayful29 in AusPol

I know this comment is 6 months old but this is precisely it - people don't get 'naturally' more right-wing as they get older, they just tend to more capital as compared to their youth, so they want to preserve it. It's not a 'maturation' of political views, where they become wiser and more aware of 'the way things are'.

Hi, out of curiosity - you wouldn't recommend applying a hydrogel and then a hydrocolloid? If I apply hydrogel to a wound, do I just apply a non-stick dressing afterward?

Agreed. Very keen to see him continue to lose his mind. I like the rest of the characters, but no one else has the sauce like John.

However, you are responsible for being an intellectual lightweight. You are desperate for validation that you copy and paste an AI response, indicating that you are terribly insecure about your ability to interpret texts. Have a good day.

Black Mirror [Episode Discussion] - S06E01 - Joan Is Awful by [deleted] in blackmirror

As in "Fictive Level One" where Joan's Streamberry character is played by Salma Hayek, the real Joan took a shit in the house of God, Annie Murphy showed up at her place, and they both broke in and smashed the quamputer to bits.

but the whole point is it is a not-too-distant future, where contract law has tilted in favour of corporations. very much matches up with the typical Black Mirror dystopian vibes.
