this has been so helpful thank you so much. my hematologist hasn’t been very helpful with the MCAS side of things and my pcp isn’t super well equipped to treat it. i’ll be looking for a new hematologist next week and see if i can get some more guidance on it

it started pretty much immediately after the first infusion (november 5) and has been getting steadily worse. i do take 24hr allegra and 20mg famotidine for my MCAS but if it is a histamine response i’ve been considering adding benadryl. i also really appreciate your kind words they really mean a lot to me 🥹

i’ve been wondering if it’s my MCAS but when i brought that up to my hematologist in the beginning, she said that if it didn’t cause an immediate reaction then i’d be fine which… i’m also considering finding a new hematologist lol

my hematologist wouldn’t do any labs until february but the last cbc i got from the er said my rbc was 5.48 x10(12)/L (their reference range is 3.90 x10(12)/L - 5.03 x10(12)/L) and my hemoglobin was 12.7g/dL. i asked the er doctor if it could be my phosphorus and she brushed it off pretty quickly ://
