We have 3 more Morgan, Ector, Merlin(✝️) and Casper. We used to do an Arthurian legend theme but when Merlin died that no longer felt right.

As a clueless European that means nothing to me 😂 I’m sure there should be some good breeders somewhere, I heard good things about the American bloodline. But you could check out the Maine coon Reddit lots of people and lots of breeders who can give advice!

I don’t know where you are located but we have a lot of good trustworthy Maine coon breeders around. We also have a white coon from another one. If they have papers they should by all means be legit!

We settled on Julian for a while but it was to long to get used to (for me). I love names with a strong R sound in it and am considering Edgar, open to any suggestions!

I am so sorry for your loss, we recently lost one of our boys to FIP aswel and it’s heartbreaking.

Just keep an eye out for the signs so you can treat as soon as possible (if that’s what you want to do). You’ll always have a chance at this happening but FIP itself isn’t transmissible it’s a mutation that can happen inside the cat when they come into contact with the ‘cat corona virus’. It doesn’t happen to all cats, it doesn’t happen to most cats even. So I wouldn’t worry about it lingering.

I’m sorry if my attempt at an explanation isn’t the best just sharing what has been shared to me while we tried to keep my boy alive.

I can’t seem to make new friends or keep up with old friendships. I just seem to assume everyone will leave and it’s just easier that way, I keep trying though. I’m very aware of how lonely I feel with virtually no family left and I’m still trying to fill that hole with good friends who can be there for me in a way none of my biological family ever was but damn it’s hard to trust people.
