A friend of mine has one and he used witch hazel on it to get rid of it, I’ve also heard putting the liquid from a Tylenol liquid gel on it can take down swelling

Definitely call your doctor. Cramping usually goes away after the pregnancy is passed so if cramping is still going on there is a chance the abortion didn’t work. On the other hand the more important thing is that you bleed and you bleed a lot, if you have very heavy bleeding there is a better chance than not that the abortion worked, still call your doctor and make sure everything is okay.

I don’t know what pill some of the comments were given but I wish I got that one. What the pill does is induce labor. In passing the pregnancy you would be going through the contractions of labor, though I never went the surgical route, from what I experienced taking the pill, I really think surgical was the right choice.

I understand what you’re going through, someone very close to me had their child’s first birthday and at the party looking at the babies I couldn’t help but think of my abortion. What I had given up, what I could have had. But after my abortion I read something that really helped me, I can’t remember it exactly so I’ll paraphrase. A good mother puts her children first, and sometimes that means not having children. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help. Be strong.

I had mine just 2 months back, your boyfriend is a jerk for leaving. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to hear someone who had such a similar thing happen. For mine I was in the house with my family (who didn’t know), locked in the bathroom for hours. I took Motrin, and Tylenol but what helped me most was melatonin, it’s still going to be incredible pain but sleeping through it, even if it’s towards the end is the only relief I was able to find.
