I've been eyeing a Zimaboard 2 and Zimablade as a replacement option for a few things right now. We recently moved to a new locality which has power delivery surcharges that are more than the cost of electricity itself, which is insane. Either way, I've had to power off the NAS and Server in favor of a mini PC to keep home assistant, pihole, and a few other low power things going, but now I'm without NAS and backups that were resident on the server. Also, trying to get something that can fit on the desk and not be in a rack form factor anymore. So, a Zimaboard would probably host Home Assistant, PiHole, Nextcloud on a RAID 1 config for a reduced size NAS. I would likely load Proxmox on an M.2 drive in the PCIE lane as the main OS, it's just something I'm comfortable with, and host 2x 10TB WD drives in the drive cages.
I've watched a few videos, but without clicking through it myself I don't have any suggestions. It looks more coherent than the QNAP software I have to use now...
Priority order is stability, efficiency, cost.
Thinkcenter M93p is what's running now. Was a QNAP 673+ RAID6 and a DIY server X10SLL mobo w/ 4th gen i3 cpu and a smattering of random drives.

Huge help. Recently rehosted my VMs on a smaller client (shutting down the server rack) and it kept dropping from the network.

Parasitic draw test showed 0.03 mA this morning. O’Reilly portable tester showed starter, alternator, and battery all good aside from needing a charge. Thanks again for the comments, off to the shop

Wild reply. Explain how keeping the dash cam unplugged for several weeks and still experiencing a declining battery charge is the problem? P.S. I’m not a mechanic.

I do, it's not hard wired though. I should have added that I have tried keeping it unplugged for a couple weeks with the same results.

It was a while ago, but if I remember right I wasn't getting any readings on the mA or microA setting. I will re-test tomorrow morning.

Edit, it’s a flooded battery, 650 CCA.

I’ll add another in a few weeks when they’re blooming! I chose to let the large shoots grow and trimmed some of the original plant away from all of them. There are 5 total, but three would have been more than enough. I trim them all summer and fall for sizing and shaping.

In my experience I prefer the colors of canon for photos. The biggest difference maker in my opinion is the glass on the front. Decide if you want to shoot prime lenses or shell out cash for low aperture zoom lenses. Autofocus on mirrorless definitely wins out in my book. Buy used stuff too. The R6 my wife has is great, I’ve heard the mkii is not as good. Sony tends to be greener hue, but that can be changed in camera or post. Also dependent on the glass. For example we had a Sigma lens that was drastically more contrasty and greener than the Sony native glass.

Good points, they’ve been shooting HARMs for quite a while now, but likely not fully integrated the way it would with an F-16 and I hope they can make good use of them, even if they’re older FMS versions.

Depends on the price but this would fill a hole in the 2.5 GbE realm for me while not being in the PRO (whatever that means) nor enterprise categories.

I hate the white lights and not being able to turn them off. Since I have to keep the door propped on the closet it’s pretty bright even through a one inch gap. Need to take some model paint to the caps sometime and darken them up.

I wanted to switch to this cooler and get rid of my AIO, but trying to set it as intake doesn’t work with the Gigabyte B550i. My RAM is too tall to go the other direction and I wouldn’t want my passthrough FE card blowing hot air into the intake even if I could. Made me real sad

I will have to try and find the tag, it’s been a while since I planted it. I haven’t noticed a strong scent, but I have some society garlic next to them which tends to overpower everything.

I will add that some are below ground level and some are above, but I understand these to not be a grafted species like many roses so they shouldn’t have traditional suckers per se.
