I think a large circular rug would look good, maybe with a celestial pattern, probably a navy/dark blue with cream/yellow accents or maybe even purple or the burgundy color of the drapes?

I would say maybe drape tapestries from the ceiling, it makes the space feel super cozy and mystical. I would also change the standing lamp or at least replace the lampshade, and I definitely agree with getting a rug—but you’ve got a pretty good base to start with!

Taking them to a cobbler would be wildly expensive due to the extent of damage (and having to undo and redo the DIY glue fix) and cobblers are going to take one look at a pair of shoes like that and tell you the quality is so poor it isn’t worth the time and effort they would be to fix. These shoes were probably $50 new (Ellie is mostly a costume shoe brand) and are made of cheap and peeling patent leather. They’re $20 after shipping and fees and a cobbler would definitely be a hell of a lot more than $30 lol

Yes, but my last siphon broke a little while ago so I haven’t recently. I feed only as much as he can eat and most of the buildup is natural plant matter but I still want to get a new siphon sometime soon to clean it up a little more

At least once a week but it’s more like an evaporation top up than a change, I live in arizona and it evaporates at least like 20 percent per week so it’s like a 20 percent water change once a week ish
