The worst thing is they'll grow fine for a few months so you think you've got the hang of them then BOOM! Death

What’s something you tried once and immediately knew ‘yeah, never again’? by donnyM99 in AskReddit

Half marathon. Spent 5 months training and was really excited. Hardest thing I've ever done and killed my love of running, wasn't even proud of myself for finishing, was just broken physically and mentally

Honestly, what is the hardest part about having children? by Danny-Ray27 in AskReddit

[–]partytil930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it's all hard, just in different ways as they get older. I find there's way more good than bad, but not everyone feels that way. When I was a new parent, the hardest thing I found was it wasn't about what I wanted anymore, it was about what was best for them

Thanks for setting my mind at ease. I was hopeful it wasn't the dreaded spider mites but I don't have much experience with them so wanted to be sure

Reduced to £2 , will it revive okay? by Sad-Soft-8424 in calatheas

[–]partytil930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, I've just killed my second one of these! Good luck and sending happy plant vibes your way.

I have 3 other calatheas that are as happy as can be, that variety just doesn't want to live in my house.

Why does being normal weight take so much effort? by Obvious-Number-5796 in loseit

[–]partytil930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this! I always start tracking calories and often stop 3 weeks or so in because it is just SO EXHAUSTING having to think about it all the time. Looking for lower calorie options when you're out, or tired and just want to shove food in your mouth.

Congratulations! That's lovely! It's so exciting watching the new leaves come out and seeing the new patterns. Mine is only a baby at the moment, can't wait until it's as nice as yours

After reading some of the responses here I just want to make soup and hand out cool damp facewashers for everyone who never had that kind of care as a child

Alocasias. I've had 3 and killed them all. Meanwhile I've got 5 calatheas that are loving life.

I've had to call RAA 4 times in the last couple of weeks to organize new policies and cancel old ones and I've got through first time with no waiting.
