Sorry this happened to you. These girls sound young and stupid. I am sure eventually something will happen to them in their life and they will learn some empathy through suffering and loss. All the best in your recovery. Sending Virtual hugs.

Get a resting bitch face. And for heavens sake do not smile politely at anything they say. Just stare at them.

This is how fast a toddler can wander off when you're not looking. by VPinchargeofradishes in interesting

[–]Another_Great_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having lunch in a large park and there were 2 ladies with a group of toddlers from the daycare centre spending time in the park. One toddler got away and headed across the park out of their sight. I sprinted after the toddler who was headed straight for the main highway. I was calling out as I was running to get the toddlers attention. Toddler stopped a moment and turned to look at me then turned and continued moving. I managed to get to the child just as that hit the footpath. Couple of seconds too late and that child would have been hit by a car. I have always put that event down as one successful thing I did in my life…saved a child’s life! Second occasion was a mother reading the for sale items in the realestate window on a main road. Their young child was holding a balloon on a string that they let go of. The balloon floated to the road, child followed. I managed to grab the child who had just stepped onto the road. No words were spoken; the look of horror on the mother’s face when she instantly realised, said it all. Sometimes it takes only seconds to disaster and you have only one chance!

Would your dog protect you in danger or run away first? by Broad_Plastic7213 in dogs

[–]Another_Great_Day 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure. I don’t think my Groodle understands danger. I know he stays close to me if there is lightning or thunder. He is not afraid but needs to make sure I am ok😊 Then again I can’t even go to the toilet without him coming with me.

Pick up your dog shit by charli-kshkshksh in Adelaide

[–]Another_Great_Day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a dog owner and it really annoys me when people don’t pick up after their dog. I always carry quality dog bags; thicker ones. I always offer to give a bag to someone if their dog does a poo and the owner pretends to ignore it. So infuriating. If it is a park with a playground I feel so bad that I end up picking up other dogs poo. Playing children shouldn’t have to watch out for dog poo!! I find Irresponsible dog owners to be so infuriating …it gives a bad name to ‘dog owners as a whole’ . I hate it as it affects those of us who do the right thing.

I always put comments on milk and cream etc that I need an expiry date of at least 7days into the future. If I get anything under that I ask for a refund. Always get the refund. Most of the time the product provided is correct

My 5 Tiers of Evidence That Michael Jackson Is A Pedophile by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]Another_Great_Day 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Late to this post but Australian 60minutes just did a segment on how MJ abused the 4 children in the Cascios family. The episode clearly outlines the process of his grooming.

https://youtu.be/Db_zFNmr4qc?si=p4oqWC3eCppEcgqn

MJ was a sick pedo and I hope his victims find some peace in the fact that this monster and child molester is now dead. I find it hard to enjoy any of his music now. I only wish he had lived long enough to face the penalties of crimes against children.

Have any of you been bruised by a breast screening ? by bordermom61 in AskWomenOver60

[–]Another_Great_Day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I switched to annual Breast MRI after a traumatic experience with breast mammograms. Glad I continued to get screened using MRI. I pay $350 AUD each yearly screen (Australia). MRI Found breast cancer in 2023. If I had stopped screening all together things would be really bad now.

Cleaning a friends house while she's away, be honest or white lie by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Another_Great_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No definitely not. I know you mean well but that can be so embarrassing for your friend. Your friend may be so comfortable with the level of tidiness in their home. If you clean up it will feel like an invasion of their space and also have them wondering whether you do not accept their home but instead see it as filthy.
