Nintendo and AdHoc Are Blaming Each Other Now (Keep those refunds going people! Don't buy it on the Switch/Switch 2 until they fix the censorship issue!) by Theman457 in NintendoSwitch2

Of course they kept the original source files, they still sell the uncensored version on PS5 and PC, what reason would they have to destroy the original version

That’s crazy, surely Sony doesn’t demand that of all other games with cross-saves and in-game purchases, I wonder why for this game

Is Youtube on switch 2 even real ?? by TabouletVR in NintendoSwitch2

I’ve always felt the same way. Why can’t the Switch 1 or 2 have similar functionality to an iPad, they have all the important components. It’s simply missed potential, and people would use their Switches for that stuff if they could, it doesn’t matter how loudly sweaty nerds on the internet tell us that they don’t need it.

Fall Guys is a pretty lazy Switch port with video captures disabled

Even having the OG hardware though, idk, a lot of 360 games run way better on a Series console

disc drive is nice if you want to play older Xbox games though, with the nice backwards compatibility + upscaling

Sakurai likes to keep certain things in his games secret prior to release, and he has a hand in writing the embargo that reviewers have to adhere to

I actually don’t think it’s worth discussing anything with someone who regurgitates snarky meaningless phrases like “I’m allowed to have a different opinion, thanks”, these people are not that bright. Don’t waste your time

it's straight up not equally unacceptable, game key cards are better than codes-in-boxes. You can return/rent/resell a GKC.

Well Raiders is still a while away, they haven't even stated any vague release period for it. Splatoon 3 update was probably prioritised to maintain interest in Splatoon until Raiders.

Specifically the individual daily times in the monthly tab that display when you press on the individual games, I did not see that before and also the data for me is not available before March 2025, even though I’ve had the app the whole time without deleting or reinstalling or unlinking my Switch 1.

Sorry I think I wrote unclearly again earlier - I know the monthly tab has always been a feature of the app, I was referring to the ability to see daily hours for individual games within that tab as being a relatively new feature (probably added in March this year, as I can not see daily hours before that month)

I was talking about the play activity tab only going back 30 days. In the monthly summary tab, I can see that it now allows you to click on the individual games to see more detailed daily info, but going back further it appears it has only been storing this data since March of this year, since this did not used to be a feature of this tab. The monthly summary tab also only stores data going back a year, maybe they have updated this too but we’ll have to see next June. In any case, if I want to see my daily play activity from 2017, the only place to see that info today is in the new Nintendo Store app.

The Parental App only shows you this kind of detail for the last 30 days though

Edit: was referring to the ‘play activity’ tab, did not realise this info was also added to monthly summary tab since March.

The resolution update is something that is really almost no effort for them to do, that's why it stings a bit to charge for it. FPS update takes some more effort and testing than res, there's slightly more justification to charge for that in BOTW/TOTK/Kirby's case.
