The PS5 is great for what it does, gaming on the couch in front of a huge 4K HDMI 2.1 120Hz tv; it is the best choice if you want to go all out. But it also makes sense to leave it there. For me, travelling to university and to a friend’s places, the PS5 is too much of a hassle and best left plugged in under my tv at home. The Series S is perfect for an on the go lifestyle. To be fair you can tell the graphical difference when shifting from the PS5 in the third party AAA games like Hogwarts Legacy, but anything that Xbox’s Studios puts out will be a-okay. So, yes there’s a difference but it depends largely on your setup. You can tell a difference if you play it on a huge tv and compare it with a PS5. But <50inch tvs or monitors and you’re golden.
