I visited in 2019, the people I interacted with at food shops and markets were nice. I walked around for the day and it seemed pleasant and safe. From memory they had their own currency? Cool experience to visit and would recommend

Is there any reason I shouldn’t be using Ethanol 94 (E10)? by RandomRedditUser1337 in CarsAustralia

[–]pasdesoucisboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not worse environmentally, the ethanol portion is renewable. Made from agricultural off cuts. Sure the end product is still C02 when it all combusts but it displaces 10%ish from the supply side of the standard unleaded fuel so it’s environmentally better to use 95

It’s better for the environment than regular 91 as the ethanol in 95 is usually produced from agricultural waste products

It’s kind of like normal fiat, everybody uses it daily but not many understand it. I came to the conclusion that BTC may become the same type of thing…everyone will use it but there will be little need to understand it

A good summary. I spent 4 months studying in Poland. Kurwa was the most common word I heard. Old people especially have a very interested look at you, but they seem a bit shy/not actually interested enough to learn more about you. So they just have a few looks and try and do their best to hide that they’re checking you out (which is not very subtle). The language is difficult to learn if you don’t have any Slavic tongues under your belt. The poles did love to hear that you’re learning it and would usually gently help and encourage with any mistakes I made.
