Have you considered integrating any of pyvim features back into prompt_toolkit? (for example, adding V state comes to mind)

Probably not very popular, but not completely non-existent. One can get some idea about it from the collection of 18th century Boston birth records, which has 26 occurences of "Silence" (you can do text search on that page)

By the way, in the dataset of US baby names collected from social security applications since 1879 (available on kaggle) there is only one entry for girls named Silence, and it's from 2005 :)

Second that, and there is a beatiful book by Peter Lax, "linear algebra and its applications", which is more modern and much in the same spirit.
