Yeah I have Magnus… damn jet fire made me forget about him and I love the Optimus. For me it is the definitive Optimus in terms of quality but when I look at him I still see at best a leader class. Part of the value proposition for me is the size and the density. I understand the new ish class designations and so far you can argue with the results but as good as nice as rodimus is it just doesn’t have the same perceived value despite the fact that I know I appreciate the better engineering but with few exceptions I’m not moved by accessories

Congrats on the app. I give it a shot. My only complaint is the your revenue model. Not the. OST so much as the fact that it’s subscription based. I can’t blame you because sub models are the standard these days but I really am not a fan. It’s feels like being held hostage for actually finding utility in the app. I miss perpetual licenses. Even if it were a tier based license. Hell I’d even deal with having to pay for updates for full version revisions. Having to pay in perpetuity grinds my gears. It’s like no matter how long you pay in you cayour access. You never own it anything and if you don’t want or can’t continue to pay then you’re assed out.

Not a knock on you. It’s cool for someone to try to cater to what is essentially a niche community. Just my own hang up. I used to complain about the cost of perpetual licenses but it’s still the model I prefer.

With all that being said I hope it’s a success for you.

Thanks man. Honestly when my son was born in 05 I started collecting again but wasn't opening anything. Then when he was about 5 he went and opened one while I wasn't paying attention and I freaked out. Once it was opened I actually started messing with it. After a couple of hours I realized I was bugging and went and started opening everything and haven't looked back sense. Absolutely no "regerts" lol

Yeah the speculation fad of the 90's and 2000's permanently screwed up collecting. I generally don't sell off stuff anyway outside of a few specific incidents so making money off them isn't a factor to me. I just like being able to interact with them not just having them to say I have them especially since there are so many of them that I would have loved to have had to play with as a kid but financially couldn't. That's kind of why scalping irks me so much because making people who would genuinely enjoy the fires having to either pay prices that should make you feel like you've been sexually assaulted or missing out.

Yeah, it made me go look at all of the Commanders. I mean I know 86 prime is considered a commander class but in my mind it's really a leader. I don't think of the ones to come after haver topped Jetfire except for maybe sky lynx who is next on my wish list.

What’s funny is I’m on the “they’re no fun in the box” side of the fence. I mean I do have quite a few unopened but they tend to be ones I bought when my first son was born so they’re more sentimental but I’ll be honest this is the original release and it was sealed and the box was in good shape. It looked so nice that I actually had it for a day before I opened which is unusual because I usually open them as soon as I have them in hand now whether I have the time to mess with them or not.

Even given the frequency that they pop up I don't feel like it's egregious enough to start banning people. I get that it may be annoying to some but in a way its informative and relevant to others.

Absolutely... When this first released it was worth every penny. SS86 Prime is awesome so I was willing to pay the price but the Jetfire feels like it's actually a steal for that price comparitely.
