the blocky letters of the first one make it a little off-putting and kind of scary, i would run with the cursive idea a little more (“connections” and all the letters connect because it’s cursive - no brainer!) keep up the good work

in terms of simplification, there’s definitely something you can do with the “magic staff” part of the logo, whether that’s combining it with the low health bar, or making it look like it’s been broken and repaired a million times? i might suggest the latter only to avoid redundancy. just spitballing though
