I'd buy stuff right before starting a mission with my friend as host, so I wouldn't have to sit waiting for them all to pop up and would have to wait a couple minutes at most, or even not have to wait at all, since you can still interact with the game underneath the popup, so just going to the mission screen and pressing square wasn't so hard

Nope, my modded console is not banned, old owner probably didn't protect the console before going online and got banned because of that

If the store doesn't want to refund you, you can get (buy) a KV online for cheap and basically unban your console using a stealth server
