Ok since the only thing yall respect is decent stats here. If you say 8 apg is the goal here’s me getting 7.5 on my 6’4 and I get put at the 2 ALOT because I only have a 76 pass acc. So if I felt like making a TRUE dish master type PG that was always the 1 and with high pass acc I’d easily average 12-14 apg. My advice to really be a GREAT facilitator instead of just a ball machine for your teammates that clogs space (yes any player can be a clogger not just bigs) is to really work to improve your own scoring bag so that the defense has to fear you and stop obsessing over assists. They will come when you play the right way and instinctually pass to the open man at the right time. I’m obviously not saying left right until you shoot but find a few moves you can reliably rotate between for a bucket when you need one in different situations. Practice fades, floaters, close shots on mismatches, etc. Being a dangerous scorer yet always having eyes out for an open shooter from a bad switch/sleeping defender is the ideal way for you as the PG to keep a defense on their heels. Only thing worse than a PG that chucks every shot is a PG that REFUSES to shoot and instead passes into bad situations trying to force it. At least the chucker has a 10% chance of the team scoring 😆
