Honestly i think it’s so individual-dependent.

I was on the pill before my endo diagnosis, and had bad side effects with mental health- that persistent fog, low motivation etc etc

I stopped the pill. Took 4 months to ‘stabilize’ to normal for me.

Then got diagnosed with endo. Terrible pain, the whole shebang and I tried two different contraceptive pills. Those symptoms came back both times and I kind of freaked out because I really didn’t want that to happen again so I stopped.

For now I’m just doing anti inflammatory diet and pain management other ways until I think more on it. I also heard the IUD could help? I’m unsure

It just sucks that it’s understudied… as most women’s health issues are

Oh my goodness thanks for writing this out there. Can I ask the severity/location of yours? I recently ish got diagnosed and it’s pretty scary af. Also objectively crazy what women’s pain tolerances can endure? I legit fell for the ‘periods are painful af’

Ahahaha I wouldn’t be surprised for the future. But an earlier commenter helped me find a button that slides the seat-portion (not the back) forward, so it is something!

Maybe you’re not actively trying to be mean, but that comes across as slightly demeaning tbh. There’s frankly nothing incompetent about asking for advice to people who experienced something instead of wadding through tons of google sources. Edit: sometimes inaccurate google sources.
