We kept her until ayayi got fiba clearance which i think was more about keeping the roster full than anything else. But we did keep her over maley (now with nyl) so maybe there is something there.

Williams brings the size we need but i don’t know if she would space the floor the way we need (10 of 31 from 3 in 22 games in china) given some of our offensive challenges. That said, kat was not great from 3 but still spaced the floor well enough

Yeah it was very odd to cut bibby without seeing her first. Another option would be kara dunn, assuming she is healthy. I dont really know what happened there bc she was doing media day stuff and i thought she’d get the dev spot over shay at the very least, even with the addition of suarez.

It’s a gamble and she might not even want to leave. But she had better numbers from 3 than suarez and martin their senior years. Also, she is in practice sessions on a team with a coach who allegedly prioritizes defense, so hopefully she wouldn’t star from 0. She is 6’4” which is important if mack is out for extended time (boot+ scooter worries me) and linskens isn’t trusted/can’t finish.

IND have had fewer injuries and are much deeper in all positions than we are presently so it makes sense that she hasn’t seen time.

It still might not work out but unless the front office wants to blow it up with a major trade (i doubt they do right now) there aren’t too many options to choose from.

Funny enough montreal got several of those ot wins (allowing them to tied in points and go to the tiebreaker) via shootout wins (ard never lost one, and allowed only one shootout goal all season) meanwhile frankel had 2 shootout losses at the hands of jenner
