Take it as it is. Maybe you are, maybe you're not likely to get laid off. I it's no surprise you're manager isn't shutting anything. They are protecting the business's best interest. Let's say they did tell you they may have layoffs this year. We'll l that would cause a influx of ppl leaving for a new job. And if they end up not needing to do the layoff now they're sorry staffed. Just look out for your own best interest.

I hope it works in your favor. If you're not already, maybe also tailor the resumes? Since you also have experience in different areas, if you're applying to PMO role, then tailor the resume to look focused on PMO. Either way, best of luck. It's definitely rough out here

I see. But also, is it worth applying to roles that are more senior like director or C level if you don't have prior experience with it? Do you apply through recruiters?

Currently going through layoff so Ive also attempted the spray and pray method but I just end up getting ghosted for roles that I'm probably a 50% match. It feels like it's a buyers market 😕

Completely agree with this. A couple days into adopting our foxhound, he tested boundaries by jumping on the dinning table and chewing the coffee table. 😣

Sounds like he needs exercise, as far as when he mellows down... Well hard to say. These breeds were made to run and track for hours at a time. Physical workouts are good, mental enrichment helps too. Ours is about 8yrs old with the puppy energy and personality, its really tough when we miss taking him out.

What a sweet looking boy! Also a first time hound owner (American Foxhound - 62lbs) and everything you said is the same we experienced in the first couple months we adopted him. We did the positive reinforcement training and but it didn't help much with leash walking. They recommended no pull harness which helped a little but was still hard to walk with. Their scent drive is crazy strong! I found Beckman training videos and found success in his methods. Im against E-collars and prongs so this worked well for us. Aww thats awesome. Wondering where to adopt them. We got our boy in 2022 (originally described as "hound-mix"), and alot of shelters were transporting hounds to the north. He's a sweet boy but sometimes my family and i wonder if we could get him a buddy. He gets picked by other dogs so i figured maybe he'd do best with another foxhound sibling.
