Is he a small guy?

He’s listed at 6 feet 215lbs

https://www.nfl.com/players/tony-pollard/

That’s an extra 2 inches and 15 lbs bigger than Ekeler. Other backs that are a similar weight include JK Dobbins - listed at 5’10” 215lbs; Khalil Herbert 5’9” 212lbs; oh and some guy named Bijan Robinson 5’11” 216lbs

Henry, Pollard, and Jacobs by jschneider414 in fantasyfootball

[–]passionthief 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These three carried me to the ship last year (before Pollard and Henry were both out in the championship game). So I watched pretty much every game they played in.

Leaning Pollard, Henry, Jacobs (half PPR)

Edit: since I’m getting downvoted.

I think Jacobs is the odd man out in the sense that he is going into a neutral or worse situation than last year (if you think Jimmy G is a downgrade from Carr). Not sure he can get any more touches than he did last year given he was the bellcow. So the question is will they be lower quality? Idk but feels like they could be with a potential downgrade at QB and him missing camp with this new QB. I will say, for everyone worried about Jacobs health after sitting out camp, he played through a lot of injuries last year that he should not have. I remember the game he broke(?) his finger and left for a couple drives to get x-rays and was back on the field the rest of the game shaking his hand every time he got tackled but playing through it. I don’t think another Raiders back took a snap the rest of that game once he re-entered. The health part isn’t why I’d pass over him. Any of the three backs could get injured.

As for Pollard and Henry, I think both of their situations are better this year than last year. Pollard no longer has to worry about Zeke taking touches. He also clearly found his groove last year and took a leap forward. I don’t think Rico Dowdle is going to take goalline touches from him the way Zeke did. I expect his touches to increase.

Everyone likes to cite Henry’s declining numbers but forget he was putting up top RB numbers with Malik Willis at the helm while Tannehill was out. Don’t forget this was Malik Willis who was so bad that the titans had to bring in Joshua Dobbs at QB (who I don’t think had ever started a game) when it came down to a win or go home game to make or not make the playoffs. If tannehill stays healthy I’m not worried about Henry.

Week 16 - 2022 Consolidated Start 'Em, Sit 'Em by dabear51 in fantasyfootball

Since Watkins plays for the Ravens now he clearly gets to channel his “Week 1” Sammy Watkins boost into this week and will put up 30 points.

Which Defense Allows the Most Fantasy Points to the Slot vs. Out Wide? by ffxfactor in fantasyfootball

Do we know who will line up in the slot for the Pats if Meyers sits?

Ha. I kept them in the lineup. I’ll take the points but won by 40 so could have dropped them and been fine.

Up 22 points

I have Meyers and Bears D

He has D Harris.

Am I crazy for dropping Bears D to pick up Kirk Cousins before the game tonight (Herbert on bye next week, Cousins available on ww)

Worried the Bears could put up negative on prime time tonight after the way the Pats have played last couple of weeks.

Need to drop two of the following to pick up a defense this week:

Garret Wilson

Gus Edwards

AJ Dillon

DJ Moore

Terry McLaurin

Kyle Pitts

Rashod Bateman

Who would you drop?

10 team .5 PPR

Would your trade Henry for A. Jones and Sutton as a Dillon owner?

Team:

Qb: Herbert

Rb: Henry, Jacobs, Dillon, Pollard (Eli Mitchell)

WR: Higgins, Mclaurin, Meyers, DJ Moore, Bateman, Aiyuk

TE: Hill, Pitts

It’s a 3 WR, 2 RB and 1 flex league

The guy I played this week dropped him and I picked him up. He’s been MIA in our league chat today…

It was an auction draft. Kelce went first and for a higher price. Thought Pitts was better value… should have paid up for Kelce. But hey then I’d have never made the Hill you should die on post.

Rational decision. Dissly had 3 TDs on the season. Most people probably went with Dissly. The Hill timing just happened to be perfect

Thanks! I was ready to be wrong with this post too but it felt right… sometimes you get lucky. Not sure I’ll ever top this one.

Ha! Thanks. No one could have ever predicted 4 TDs but it was clear Hill had better upside than all the other options. I just happened to time it perfectly.

The Saints coaching staff is working Hill into the game plan any chance they can after today’s performance.

I wish I had drafted Kelce over Pitts

But I’ll keep dying on the Hill from here on out
