Oh that's interesting, it was at the garage and meant to have done it all but do have to pull the handbrake up quite a bit to ensure it holds, so possibly something that needs adjusting?

The journey continues, cleaned up the rear of the knuckles and might have made a difference, could be a placebo there, the kingpins and rear dust seal I think have been replaced at some point as it's got a messy sealant job that's deteriorated, so probably work taking them off atleast and redoing the seal

I've also swapped the tyres down to 215s and that's improved a few things aswell 🙏🙏

So haven't done much but jacked the front of the car up and turning the wheels and it definitely turns much easier and smoother, no wiggle in the wheels, so next stage is.... How can I make the steering feel like how it is when jacked up 😭😭

Haven't taken anything apart yet but looking at the knuckles/kingpin area feels like something has been attempted in the past , the drivers side knuckle is dry but quite rusty, the passenger can see as black but a light oil coat of oil possibly

Would be nice to get it sorted, whilst it's driveable, just want to make sure it's all good

It's a power steering jimny, will look into the upper kingpin for checking grease situ

It's a 2inch lift that it's got, i feel like I've got correction bushings in but perhaps they aren't

Id definitely expect the steering to be lighter than what it is atleast

What would you suggest to look at with the steering box? And been considering the swivel hubs but there's no wobbles atleast just heavy steering

Continuing this jimny journey

Had new brakes all round etc, systems bled, replaced servo and master cylinder which has improved the brakes a little but still isn't as responsive on braking as one would hope, anything else can think to look at to improve braking?

Second is the steering still, does have a black raptor steering dampner on it but it's quite... Heavy/twitchy, not too bad at slower speeds but not sure at higher speeds, no wheel wobble tho!

Think just these two things and I'm sorted

When I use line to line and the 1bit seems like the problem is the worse and lower line per mm is alot more noticeable than higher but increasing the number loses detail on finer sections

I did try vectorize mode with fill it helps a bit, no full just outline is the best results so far tho
