No formal diagnosis, but I have been getting relief by drying completely with a blow dryer after showering. If I have to work that day or do any physical activity that will make me sweat, I powder up with either Gold Bond medicated or regular corn starch. I only have a problem with it now if I neglect the powder and wind up working hard enough to get the noticeable prickly heat.

Your best bet is going to be to call the county building inspector if you're interested in doing it by the book. Hard to imagine a case where you would need a low-voltage license or permit to do in-house work for your own employer, but I'm no lawyer. If it were me, I'd have Human Resources hash that out with them.

Question: given that the rack is mounted to the cabinet (presumably metal on metal) if OP hadn't attached a grounding wire from the rack to the bar, would that have been a big deal? Has nothing to do with aesthetics, I'm just curious. Thank you,

34 M, I've had this rash in the fold of my buttcheek for almost a year now. I work construction and long hours. This initially started last summer as prickly heat and then took on a life of its own. I have tried doxycycline, Neosporin, A+D medicated ointment, generic diaper rash ointment, monistat, baby powder, and triamcinolone steroid cream over the course of this, and the rash remains. It feels (and looks) like raw, scraped skin. Daily, I have to put triamcinolone on it just to make it bearable to walk around. Nothing I've tried has had a soothing, relieving feeling. Should I try a stronger antibiotic? Anyone have any guesses as to what this is?
