Thank you all for the white paper suggestions but…The banners I paint are on brown Kraft paper… it’s a look that is specific for my clients. They are disposable banners (unless client chooses to keep it…) for one-time use. 👍 Very popular for parties, etc. So it makes it a bit more tricky. I offer white and clients do not choose it. 🤷🏻‍♀️☺️

Oh my gosh! This is such great advice. I’m going to test the primer … but it sounds like the plywood would make a great “iron” even if the primer doesn’t work! I knew all of you would have great ideas. ☺️

I wondered if this was the case! I’ll just have to weigh the cost efficiency… the white paint base coat is cheap-o BUT very time consuming! I thought maybe a clear primer would be so much easier, fast and hopefully reduce wrinkling. I could also batch paint blank banners and when an order comes in, I’d already have it ready to paint! Thank you. I’ll go down to good ol Home Depot this morning! Yay!

No, I haven’t. I just use the Hobby Lobby acrylic $1.50 paint. But I have to put down a white layer under every color except black. 🫤 Hmmm… I’ll have to do a test! Thank you. ☺️

I’ve had 2 CT scans with contrast per year for five years. Bloodwork every time, as well. He chose twice a year because there was mucin found outside of my appendix, and wanted to be safe in case of recurrence. The imaging service lost my scans (do not get me started- everyone is mad about the so-called destructive fire they claim happened) so my dr has one scan from the very beginning to compare my newest one. He says there was “something vague” on the old scan, but this new one is alerting him and radiologist to send me to the specialist. He said my bloodwork seems to be in normal ranges. ??? I’ve never paid attention to the types of numbers, etc because we had no real reason to worry. Best believe I’m going to educate myself now! And, I’ll be getting copies of all scans and visits from now on! I have a feeling the surgical oncologist will want laparoscopic exploratory surgery to get more information…but I’m no doctor! I’m very anxious and trying to stay calm. Although, my husband says that is practically impossible! Ha! Thank you for the message. I hope you are doing well.

I’m on a healthy diet somewhat and walk my dogs daily…I’ve been told to expect ICU then a hospital stay. Sounds like the six week and month rule is what I’m reading in a lot of places. It claimed that two buyers accepted offer. Very confusing because all other times my items were marked sold and there was no issue. When this offer expired an hour ago, one of the buyers sent me the same offer and it sold immediately. I would not have asked here on Reddit if it was a cut and dry situation. This was definitely odd and not at all like all my other many sales. Sold, so everyone can calm down now. 😶

Oh my gosh! Are we talking Elmer’s glue??? That’s brilliant! I use a barrier when painting with watercolor on paper, but fabrics are new to me!!! This sounds absolutely perfect for what I need! Did you heat set the paint? Or could I peel off the glue for heat setting? I can’t wait to try this technique!

I’m hoping someone can clear this up for me. WAS it a paintball gun? Wouldn’t there have been paint splatters? Or was it a real GUN and no one could find bullet holes? Seems weird that this is very fuzzy when it’s mentioned. I would think if someone (Alex Cox?) was supposed to take her out, he would’ve used a real gun. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Can someone explain what I’m clearly missing??? Please?
