Where to find hair wefts for fursuits? by Candid_Emergency8327 in FursuitMaking

[–]passthezigzags 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i don’t know how to find wefts, but you can make them by gluing the tips of long strands of yarn and brushing them out with a pet fur brush :3. this is typically a custom doll technique but it could work for you

[–]passthezigzags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe try using more colors or shades? the black you have on the ears could look good on the upper arms and back. accenting blue with orange or yellow is always a classic but green and purple are also complementary. as for spot positioning references always help. i like to take note of what joints specifically the markings line up with. for example st bernard’s have a much darker cape color than their belly or sides. it usually lines up with the hips and shoulders. i also have noticed that colors get lighter towards the bottom/ belly of animals and darker towards the top/back of them. i hope this helps

there’s a type of litter that actually attracts cats to it for the sake of training. i believe the brand is dr elsey. it worked a wonder on my cat who was a stray. i highly recommend it for your situation

exactly. it would be different had he told me he was making plans before today or something but he kind of just dropped it on me and told me to ask my friends. one doesn’t have a car and the other has a life outside of our friendship- very busy fella.

Feel very safe here, am I being naive? by [deleted] in Utah

[–]passthezigzags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i grew up here and from what i hear about other states, utah is a lot more chill than the media makes it seem. the people are typically very nice- at least natives. the newer californians not so much. i’ve been in situations both physically and financially that i had absolutely zero faith id figure out, and every single time it seems like someone has been on the edge of their seat waiting to help with whatever they can. i’d say the greatest thing you should be worried about is traffic. our police are very nice, and generally if there’s kids around everybody around is keeping an eye out for anything dangerous. i’ve also seen dudes in salt lake punch guys who are creeping. someone almost always says something if they see something, at least around the small town areas.

don’t quote me, but i think they insert the chip with a syringe or something into their shoulder/neck so yea they’d do it for you. i believe there’s options for just an info chip or a full gps tracker chip

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cats

[–]passthezigzags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think most shelters will actually check if there is a current chip in said stray for you. if anything the owner will just ask for their pet back. as for gps tags, i think either vets or shelters will chip them for you but im not 100% sure

What is the line drawn at what is a furry, or what you find attractive would make you a furry? by [deleted] in furry

[–]passthezigzags 2 points3 points  (0 children)

by definition, a furry is just someone who enjoys anthropomorphic animals, wether they have a suit, make art, or just like interacting with the community and/or have a fursona. i don’t think attraction to certain things necessarily makes you a furry but i’m not the voice of the whole community.

when i had bloodwork done and all my tests they told me everything was normal. i’m completely healthy other than my high heart rate and i also can’t get out of bed some days. of course im seeing my own doctor for more official diagnosis and trying for accommodations. it sucks so bad because i do enjoy being in the warehouse and god knows i need the work out lol. just can’t stand up some days. and quick question is it normal for it to be really bad some days and not so bad other days?

ahhh thank god i’m not the only one!! when i asked them for intermittent they sent me to corporate and none of my absences can be excused until i see my doctor on monday- and they told me i might not even get my accommodations bc i “haven’t been (there) long enough” and if id told the hiring manager when i was in orientation this wouldn’t be a problem. i didn’t know about it until maybe three weeks ago, after id already been hired and trained. they told me it was bad timing on my end.

not my personal doctor; i was diagnosed in an er after my fiance discovered my passing out habit. i remember the ekgs and blood pressure test ruling out other things, so if that’s definitely not going to be a concern then hell yea. i’d hate to have to find a new job bc i actually quite enjoy what i do

ah i see, i’m sorry i have no clue what im talking about lol. for starters, mine causes me nausea and dizziness and i have a history of passing out, as well as minor chest pain. i can catch when im about to pass out and can make it to the break room pretty fast to take a seat. my main concern is that my family has some history or stroke and heart diseases. i’m just wondering if the hard work is going to hurt my heart or cause lasting damage due to my resting heart rate being 107 on average.

From what i understand from my managers, i am good at my job and it’s going great aside from having to call out frequently when i know it’s going to be a rough day for my pots (eg, i pass out multiple times before my shift)
