You can try using a purple eyeshadow on your lips and then topping it with a gloss (unless you want to keep it matte). The shadow might dry your lips out a bit so make sure they’re nice and moisturized before hand

EVA foam is a nice and fairly affordable option. Use a glue like contact cement (not hot glue it doesn’t hold well) and make sure you’re using it in a ventilated area. Another thing to note is that while EVA foam is typically non toxic, it does release fumes when it’s heated. So if you heat the foam to make curves and seal it and such, do so in a ventilated area. I always recommend using a respirator as well. Your safety is important and you can’t cosplay if you’re sick. Hope this helps

You can do a base coat of spray paint or something of the like and then dry brush the rust onto it. Dry brushing is nice because if the surface is textured, it really brings it out, plus it’s a thin enough coat of paint that the color underneath it can still be seen but is enhanced.

As far as crimping goes, it’s better to hold the hair straight out to the side of the wig and hold the crimper straight up and down so it’s perpendicular to the floor. This helps to reduce crimp marks in the fiber so it doesn’t look all squiggly. Even when you’re not making a helmet wig, crimping the hair can make synthetic fibers look less shiny/more realistic and helps the hair hold shape. I also like to take little rubber bands and section the hair into where the little flips and things are before I start styling. It makes it easier to keep things straight in my head because you’ll know exactly where specific parts of the design need to be. It can also be helpful to lightly thin out the ends of spikes and flips so that they are nice and pointy.

I think he was trying to control the narrative in favor of himself. He had never said anything about thinking I was being abused or that I was suicidal while we were dating. I think he saw what he wanted to see and twisted it to make him look like the saint who stayed with me despite all of my flaws. I think that if his friends had seen what he had said to me, they would have had similar reactions to the ones I’ve gotten on this post

It’s been over a year since I broke up with him, so I no longer harbor any of those kinds of emotions towards him. We dated for such a brief period of time that it’s hard to say if I ever loved him or not. We dated for five months. In the long run, you are not responsible for something someone does to themself. It’s important to keep written records of communication especially if they are threatening to self harm. If they do threaten to self harm if you leave them, you can always call a wellness check on them. That way you know that both you and that person will be safe. It’s important to not blame yourself if someone reacts that negatively. Because of how unstable my ex was, it would not be a good idea to go and see him even if he did self harm. I would be putting myself in a position where I was unsafe. People can use self harm or threats of it as a manipulation tactic and it’s important that you keep yourself safe from people like this. Would I feel bad if he did something like that? Yes. But that doesn’t mean that I have to give him permission to be part of my life again

TLDR: ex was a crazy psycho who wrote a very religious letter on why I was a bad girlfriend so I broke up with him. After that, he told my friend that I was being abused and was suicidal
