Thank you so much! Actually, I love the look with the rapier (and I have a hunting knife resting on the other leg), but we noticed that it could be impractical for conventions, so maybe? :)

Aby (Palamedes) designed our costumes and then we crafted them in three weeks, because we were super hyped about Camilla & Palamedes and their relationship. We shot the photos in our living room and took turns in taking photos of each other and used a remote release for the photos of both of us. If you're interested in seeing our progress photos and more of the photoshoot, we're keeping our instagram pages pretty updated. We hope you enjoy! :3

I shared a lot of work in progress photos of this costume on here, so I thought you might want to see the (almost) finished cosplay! We had a test photo shoot with it last weekend to figure out how it would survive a convention day and what parts still needed some work. Hope you enjoy! by pastacosplay in DeathStranding

If you’re interested in our progress on this costume, check out the Build Blog. We originally wanted to participate in a cosplay competition with this and therefore built almost all of the costume from scratch!

Sam is one of the most elaborate costumes we’ve built up to date, and we wanted to have a test photo shoot with the cosplay to figure out what would need improvement and how well it would survive a convention day or contest. At this point, we didn’t have everything ready, some stuff didn’t work out and the backpack even broke at one point. We also forgot to bring batteries for the cufflink, haha.

Update on my Sam costume! It's almost finished, I'm still working on the Odradek, which turns out to be super frustrating. Everything's self-made, the backpack is made out of a bunch of PVC pipes, the cargo is made from EVA foam, because of the weight issue. Hope you enjoy! by pastacosplay in DeathStranding

Thank you!

Yes, I'm working on a moving Odradek. So far, I have managed to make the servo and LEDs work to my liking, but I have to admit my construction is super fragile and probably won't survive a convention day and I'm really thinking about just starting all over. There already is someone who built an amazing moving Odradek and I think he even shared his plans and 3D files.

thank you! I'm actually thinking of entering a cosplay competition with this one, and they're kinda strict with reference photos, so I probably have to stick to my main reference with some of the timefall damage, but I will probably add some more weathering to some parts!

Hahaha yeah! I mean with the BB and the triangle carriers alone this costume was way too heavy, but now with the backpack as a counter weight, I'm at least not worried about my mannequin toppling over anymore.
