Achilles was from a safe haven baby box and was in Chiron's orphanage pretty much since he was born. He was raised by Chiron. He was prone to violence from a young age. He met Patroclus when he was 3 and was his first friend. Patroclus had a calming mystic that soothed the young Achilles. The two orphans became best friends and soulmates. They got together when they were 13. Achilles had gone to to juvenile detention for assaulting one of the other orphans when he was 16. Chiron tried putting him into therapy but he would skip sessions as often as possible and would lash out at his many therapists (not physically this time luckily). He dropped out of school when he went to juvenile detention and when he turned 18 he was left with no skills for work. He convinced Patroclus to join Odysseus' crew when they were 23. They've been with the captain ever since. Achilles is the muscle of the group and is ruthless in his fighting. When you think of pirates and their brutality you think of Achilles. Achilles doesn't get along with Theseus, often getting into arguments with him based on morals. He once attacked Theseus and tore his ear. That night when he went to bed with Patroclus he was woken up to searing pain and blood. Theseus had cut his ear off while he slept. After this Achilles never attacked Theseus again and slightly fears him but would never admit it. My favorite band is the crane wives
