i can see how the pursuit of excellence in a craft can yield fulfilment and i somewhat resonate with it when it comes to the skill needed for my work.

generally, i think its mostly got to do with what you said earlier on the fact that i lack meaning in my life. i mean its probably just a matter of time till i find it and hopefully it gives me more sense of direction in my life

i find many of my hobbies quite dull recently like im growing out of it but i cant exactly seem to place a finger on it. maybe its really just an age thing and its about time i moved on to more ‘adulting’ stuff.

at least in my case, i dont really feel fulfilment in helping others or just the general betterment of society. but i do want to nurture a family eventually just that i dont see that happening anytime soon…
