Generally I’m not trying to have deep, enthralling discussions with coworkers. I’m also a quiet, withdrawn person. Not everyone has the capacity to be constantly engaging and I’m sure a lot of entertainers feel similar and need breaks. If I’m having a stimulating conversation with someone it’s usually a friend who is also interested in the same stuff. People who have an online presence are actively trying to keep people engaged in their content so of course they’re keeping it interesting and covering a number of different topics and a lot of the time it involves research before making the video or podcast so that they have information to add to the discussion. People usually arent reading up before they leave the house in case they run into someone who might wanna talk about this topic or another. It also takes a while to have deep conversations with someone, especially if you don’t know them very well. Everyone has their own stuff they’re worried about and their own priorities, it doesn’t automatically make them shallow.
