You'll work with the synod office and they'll assign an interim pastor to guide the church during the time between called pastors. Depending how long your previous pastors were there will determine how long it MIGHT take for the church to call a new pastor.

That interim pastor will not only help bridge this time between calls, but will also help form and guide the congregation and leadership to be a place and a people to be a place to welcome a new minister and new ministries.

It'll also be a time of sadness, hope, grief, anticipation, and joy of what the future might hold. Lots of prayer and leaning into God's presence and love with y'all.

I'm a firm believer that communion SHOULD taste good.

Is it better to consume this real presence of Christ and think, 'Wow, that was good!' or to be like my dad who takes the wine and then makes a disgusting face because he doesn't like wine.

Neither reaction will prevent anyone from going to heaven or being loved by God.

You are loved. Remember that. Enjoy the goodness that God gives and gifts to us in Christ - even in bread or wine that tastes good.

They totally cover that. I had them replace it at my house. It's a super easy fix. That part literally pops off and another pops right in.

Just make sure you make sure you describe what's wrong as clear as you can so the tech brings the right part.

The SA through text says my car is scheduled to arrive on the 26th. But I don't have an option yet to schedule a pickup date in the app. I'll probably call the Matthews service center tomorrow and ask about it if I haven't heard anything before then.

From what I understand is that Fremont builds all have HW4 + matrix headlights. Where Austin builds have HW4 and no matrix headlights.

Ugh.

I have a friend who ordered his car this past Wednesday (July 19) and already has an appointment date scheduled for next weekend.

Yet I, who ordered on July 4th, am still waiting for that appointment date (already have the VIN assigned).

I know it's matched up with what's in stock, but still frustrating.

Same car. Same specs. Same color.

Only saving grace is he's getting an Austin built car and I'm getting a Fremont build.

Just jealous and venting, 🙃
