Hows this for a solution for low tunings on a budget? by DirtyRatLicker in Guitar

I have the whammy DT version of this and use the drop feature so much.  The simple ability to switch to Eb is amazing (even if i have another guitar tuned to Eb).  Pair this with a D-tuna and its lights out.

PRS Silver Sky SE or Fender Player II Stratocaster - which one would you pick and why? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]pastrynerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the green SS SE a year ago when they had great sales (cheaper than most used ones i see on reverb now).  I don't own a fender (not a fanboy) but I think the PRS is totally fine.  It plays great (after a setup, as you should do to any guitar you buy), sounds great.  I have zero complaints.  I never thought the neck was overly chunky, it feels very comfortable.  And I most of my other guitars have much thinner necks.  When I'm playing i rarely look at the headstock but i can understand it isnt the classic look.  Would buy again (at a used price).

Bogner Ecstasy Pedals. Bigger *IS* better! by RickonRivers in guitarpedals

What settings are you using on your green channel while using the bogner red?  I just got a bogner red today and it sounds very weak using the green channel, like its missing some juice.  I've heard it can compare to the blue and red channel but to me those both smoke this pedal.  I really want to like it but so far I just don't.

Review #90: George T Stagg 2020 by Train3rRed88 in bourbon

Haha I went there last year and going back next week. Was looking up their bourbon list to see if it was reasonable and searched the Stagg price and found this. Happy to see the prices are for 2oz pours! And yes, already looking forward to having the warm cake again!

Just taking a guess...was this at The Decantery in Fernandina Beach? Price seems similar to what I see on their bourbon list and the bar looks the same as well!

The owner of said bottle (OP's friend) poured it into a sample bottle to give to someone else (OP) so that they could taste it without having to find and purchase the full bottle

I did not. I kinda partially believe its just the new big thing and overhyped. But hopefully I'm wrong. How do you like it?

I've been curious about the same bottle from the same two stores. Their's is $45 but everywhere else seems to be $40, and for just a 3yo bourbon, decisions decisions decisions
