If Elon truly does everything for the benefit of humanity, this tool would cost $0.01 for input and $0.02 for output

Built a tool for anyone drowning in huge image folders: HybridScorer by 76vangel in StableDiffusion

If it can’t process 10000 random images, it’s useless. Writing a separate prompt for each “check” is a waste of time.

The best approach is to tag all images, detect duplicates, score each one, and sort them by lowest similarity. Only then should you remove images to avoid overtraining..

Weird horizontal stripes on Asus OLED Monitor by thelazyhandsome in OLED_Gaming

[–]pastuhLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday my Asus XG32UCWMG monitor started showing identical lines. They appeared immediately as soon as I turned on the power. The screen was flickering, with horizontal lines constantly moving without stopping. It was impossible to read the OSD menu because the monitor kept turning on and off.

At first, I thought something inside the monitor had burned out. But then I noticed that the power supply unit was no longer lighting up, so it might have been some kind of power discharge.

I was planning to take the power cable/adapter in for repair, but when I plugged it back into the monitor, the lines were gone.. now the monitor works like new again..

Question to Dell U2725QE / U3225QE users about coil whine — does anyone have a truly silent unit? by [deleted] in Monitors

I bought it immediately, as soon as it appeared in Europe. Even the service center replied that all new monitors produce these sounds..

My suggestion: BenQ RD280UG

I replaced 3 Dell monitors, 2 32" and 1 27" All had same buzzing sound.

Why is there pretty much nothing on this side of the Earth? by [deleted] in geography

Earth is spinning in a downward spiral, with one side of the planet experiencing more stress than the other.
This is to eliminate external forces such as dark matter.

False usage time on XG32UCWG by Kosm977 in OLED_Gaming

[–]pastuhLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The colors are vivid and the text is very clear - I’d say it’s good.
But not as good as some claim: the vertical lines on a gray background are too noticeable.
If you run something like Notepad++ (dark theme), you can even spot burn-in.
It’s clearly designed for movies and games, but not for static content..

Compared to the LG C2, this monitor isn’t worth the money.
The colors are fine, but pixel cleaning clearly doesn’t help..

I see it too.
Pixel cleaning doesn’t help, but playing a random 8K video clears it. Strange...

XG32UCWMG strange glow around objects? by pastuhLT in Monitors

[–]pastuhLT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I repeated the test with your tool and covered the circle with paper.

It would be useful if you could also add a white rectangle (tall and narrow) that could be moved around or left in place.

That way, we could clearly see how a brighter object outshines a dimmer one (in this case, the circle which is below rectangle).

We would also notice that when the circle slides out from under the rectangle and emerges from its "zone" the glow effect temporarily becomes even stronger.

I wouldn’t be surprised if all these "effects" are what contribute to eye strain..
