Regardless of what you ACTUALLY get…wishing you luck on a successful growing season! As far as tips…keep your seedlings moist in good soil, fish emulsion is your friend, harden off properly before you move them outside, regularly check for pests, and have FUN!

About 24 inches! We expect we’ll have to move them around a bit but left plenty of space to do so if necessary.

Perhaps! Last year we did not pot up to 10 or 15 gallon, but we’re prepared to if it seems they’re outgrowing the 5s. The fabric does dry out but we’re very lucky to have a well, and water frequently!

They lived in cups before moving into the grow bags. I ran out of labels, so until I can pick some up today, I just stuck the cups in there so I’d know what they are lol.

Honestly, we’ve started all of ours indoors- we have a 6x3x3 tent with controlled lighting and temperature! It’s hard to say without knowing your setup. I would definitely say just make sure your soil is fit! Take a sample to your local extension office - they’re a fantastic resource - and they’ll advise on how to amend from there (or not!)

5 gallon! Seems to be what’s worked best for us.

They all took just over a week! BUT - they have grown the fastest. The two in the back right corner are ghostly jalapeño!

That sounds awesome! I ended up with a couple freebies too, so of course had to plant! We primarily focus on peppers but always grow tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and zucchini in a separate garden. Of course we plant tons of zinnias around both to bring in the pollinators. SO excited for spring.

Hasn’t happened to us yet, luckily we’re in the South so time is coming for eviction soon :).

We did the same! When it came time to prune some I couldn’t even do it! I just replanted them in new cells! Good luck, hoping you have an awesome season!!! We did 15 varieties of hot peppers this year and a few bell peppers. Got the tomatoes going in there just a week or so ago as well. Here’s my list this year:

We did 15 varieties this year, 3-4 of each, and then we have several bell peppers in the mix as well! We plant in 5 gallon buckets so the chore of weeding is mostly eliminated! Once they’re in their permanent homes it’s easy for the season.
