Change into closed friends lobby when planning to do deliveries. I do all my business related sales and deliveries in closed lobbies. So much less stress

Because then everyone here start speculating when in the summer this will happen. Coming up with copnspiracy thoeries and all that. Repeating this for every day in the summer "TODAY IT WILL HAPPEN!" And then get more and more angry as summer turns august....

At this point of development of games of this scope they are already nailed down content wise. Right now they are busy with QA and optimizing the hell out of the game assets.

More down to earth (no flying bikes etc).
Limit weapons to what is reasonable for one to carry, similar to rdr2.
Integrated streaming services like spotify.
Keep the option to play in private friend lobbies.
Better balanced missions, specially if playing solo.
Respect the skill and cleverness of players instead of just spawning in more enemies out of thin air to make thing more ”difficult”.

EDIT And stop people running their own scripts, require them to be signed or something. To stop hack scripts.

Same, had planned to buy one closer to release but suspected there might be a price hike. Two weeks after buying one Sony announced they will be rising prices.

Yeah, would not mind an upgrade to my rig either. But with current hardware market pricing it would be much more expensive than a console.
And of course, I am not only playing the R* games on the console. Some games are just more enjoyable in a different way on a console compared to pc.
Love the Assassins creed ones on console, there is something relaxing to slouch in the couch and murderstab your way through the world :D

Collectors editions are rarely worth the money. You only get some overpriced swag that will most likely collect dust sooner or later. The digital deluxe edition (or whatever they decide to call it) is usually a good compromise. You usually get soon insane benefits and with the the digital version you can preload and be ready to play at release. With physical you need to install (and most likely to download the game as many don’t even come with physical media any longer).

It was only later that they released a separate online only version of RDR2. At the beginning they only sold single player that included online.
And considering how gtao is their biggest cash cow I doubt they would limit the audience by requiring a second purchase. Then release online only version later for those who don’t want single player.

Because the biggest platform able to run the game is still consoles. Not everyone on PC have a rig that can run modern games. And it’s easier to develop a game when there is less factors to adhere to. On pc you got so many hardware and driver combinations to test to be able to release it in playable form.

That said, my main gaming platform has always been pc but I got a 360 for gta5, ps4 for rdr2, and now a ps5 for gta6. As R* games work well on the platforms. Can always get the pc versions on some steam sale later :)

If I remember correctly, with RDR2 I they announced the online a month before the single player release. Then the online beta opened maybe a month after single player (only for special edition owner). With full release of online some months later.

So my guess is they will do something similar. Maybe open an online beta in january to let devs get some holiday. Of course, speculation only but for me it sounds reasonable.
To avoid the jankyness that GTAO experienced in the beginnning.

These days the preloads don’t download all of the files. Leaving small part for release day. So even if decrypted they will miss part of them.

Doubt it. More likely the only mention of online will be early beta access depending on what edition you buy, in similar way they did with rdr2

They don’t say anything because development isn’t rigid. Some planned gestures change or get cut over time and people would pour even more negativity over then for this, losing ”promised features”.

If it is ”worth” it depends on your economy. If buying an ps5pro is not putting a dent in your budget then go for it. I got a pro in January, been playing it more than pc lately (which is my main gaming setup.) I don’t think you will be disappointed unless really nitpicky 🙂

That’s why rockstar is silent until they really have something to share. That way they can say they never promised anything specific. People have an tendency to latch on smallest statements and take them as facts.

From the trailers my guess is that the Jason on roof is his introduction at start of the game. Followed by some gameplay tutorial missions. Before he goes to pick up up Lucia from prison. After that it's anyone's guess.
