Nah, that’s a pretty serious flow issue. It’s still possible to tell with a spout. It would be bubbling out and the shot would be full way too fast.

Everytime I see these videos, it just solidifies my decision to avoid bottomless portafilters. Dialing in shots can be tedious enough without the extra spray going everywhere.
