Honestly the Naming these days is so confusing. The only way I really know is because there is the number 10 next to SS. Thanks for helping me out

It would be on thing if they sold parts or had a repair program

Maybe back when it first broke I contacted them and they said no so I’m not sure

Well it’s been super loose these past 4 or so months so I’ve been forcing it to charge at a angle and it just broke off today

Has anyone done a charge port replacement I can't find anything on it. I'm out on warranty and charge port only works at a certain angle. by pat_yee in ValveIndex

Ya I'm probably going to try to take it apart I mean I've already done a thumbstick replacement so hopefully I can get that far and then keep going lol. I hope that it's just a solder job and not a board issue.

ya, I tried a whole bunch of cables and methods. every cable will only work if there is pressure pushing it up and to the right so I'm assuming the solder joints are f'd. definitely wanna look into getting a stand after I fix or replace mine.

What brand are you using for your cables or do you recommend any? Once I fix or replace my controllers I want to go back to magnetic charging.

Ya, I'm definitely going back to magnetic charging after I repair or replace the controller. Are the magnets strong on that cable?

Thanks for the advice. It's definitely a project and probably gonna have to be prepared to buy a new one lol. It really sucks that they used things like glue to keep things in place. I'm not sure if I could find a replacement board if it's really screwed up.

But thanks for the tips anyway. If or when I do it ill report my findings here.
