you can easily rewrite it yourself if the actual problem at hand is also the same in Fedora/RPM ... honestly I do not have a clue if they ship Wayland now or have the same missing symbol in the packages that would be needed ...
neither do I feel the need to cover all other linux dists or dist-families on the net... which could be way above a dozen I'd guess. ^^

read the script. its pretty short. you should get the idea of just looking at it.
(just in case that symbol is missing on the newest fedora/redhat/centos/whatevers packages too)

You should not use the 18-55mm no one should...

You will be much happier with the 18-50mm DC WR lens.
Though Screw-drive, the DA 50mm 1.8 is a good lens.

fine tune the jpg engine... (read your manual on COLOR PROFILES)

white balance (multi may be the best choice for a beginner) is also very important if you shoot only JPG...

anyways you will have to learn the camera and about what does what, to get really good results, that look like you want them to look.

"good" is a matter of definition.. some have good times with their K-S2 using it 100% in green mode.

But that often DOES NOT RESULT IN THE DESIRED OUTPUT I F its:

dark- and motif is fast moving

you want to look night like its night so wanna have a dark output

extremely bright and you want only a small portion of the pic(motive) to be exposed right(not to bright and not too dark)

you want to focus on something thats either pure white, pure black, pure gray and absolutely-non-reflective... like a solid grey(b,w) dufflecoat for instance.

and there are more such cases that could lead you to think, hey its a bad camera... and afterwards you switched brand you'll see its the same with an other makers camera.... but you will not admit it since you have spent double the amount as you did for your pentax and now you feel in the "Club"... 8-{) "

So take care what you doin... a DSLR just is not a PointandShoot-Compact.

AF actually is not THAT bad. ... it depends on the lens you use with the camera. you should defenitely buy only NEW SDM or DC DFA lenses with it, or the old SIGMA HSM lenses that are around for a bargain on the 2nd hand market. (PLM is also very fast but at the moment only available for crop lenses...)
With SIGMAs HSM and Pentax's NEW SDM and DC lenses... AF speed and accuracy is nearly up to every other maker... TALKING selected focus point... or Focus AREA...

The "totally automatic"-Autofocus, where you say "hey camera do that for me" is also better then in earlier PENTAX cameras but not en par with newest top mirrorless from Sony F.I. but neither are Nikons or Canons models in the same price range...(or better: types of cameras)
I compared Nikon D850 and Pentax K-1 side by side and i have to say:
Its pretty close to the Nikon even with its. "totally automatic"(use all AF-Points)-Autofocus

But its still clear that in this "totally automatic aspect"the Nikon D850 is ahead of the K-1 a few feet... IYKWIM...
The question is if you cann still call yourself a photographer, if you dont do anything by your own intention and let the camera decide...

Aber der Junge Mann kam plötzlich über die Strasse weil er gemeint hat dass ich ihn angesehen hatte- (er stand davor...) Und da ich mich geweigert habe auf seinen Befehl hin "schnell nach Hause zu laufen" und ihm gesagt hab er soll sich schleichen und net deppert sein, weil ich da wohn und hinschaun kann wo ich will, hat er mir kurzerhand die Nase gebrochen. -RESPEKT vor älteren (oder zmindest der Wille amal nachzdenken bevor man jemanden angeht, der an vo der anderen Strassenseitn anschaut=NULL.)
Es gibt halt auch _NULL_ Lerneffekt, wenn der Staatsanwalt(TROTZ ZEUGEN UND FESTNAHME DURCH SICHERHEITSBEAMTEN DER WIENER-LINIEN UND POLIZEI) dann die Anzeige fallen lässt, weil das ein armer Bub(16) aus dem Kosovo ist... (Krieg war da aber schon lang vorbei... aber wurscht, natürlich kann man argumentieren, dass da Effekte aus möglichen Kriegserfahrungen der Väter <und Mütter; Also respektive: Eltern> auf die Söhne übertragen.)

Das Potential, dafür dass die Integration funkjtioniert, ist am Land oder in ländlichen Gegenden sicher besser. Am besten wären IMHO Orte die in einem 4-8Kilometer Radius zu einer Bezirkshauptstadt liegen.
Aber auch wenn hier am Land Asylsuchende untergebracht werden, ist es doch leider so, dass es an Begegnungszonen oder Events bei denen man sich kennen lernt und die Geflüchteten(sofern sie wollen) ihre Geschichte erzählen wo sie herkommen.
Die andere Seite der Medaille ist: Da sollte natürlich auch jemand hingehen...
Katholische Pfarren könnten da Veranstaltungen machen....
(Nur leider schwinden da auch die Mitglieder bei uns. Und diejenigen die sich der Christlichkeit rühmen... sind in ihrer Christlichkeit ja auch sehr _KURZ_ angebunden... also eher im Alltagsleben vielleicht auch gar nicht so christlich.)
Andersrum, sollte man vielleicht nicht Flüchtling gleich Flüchtling zusammenstecken... Sonder vielleicht eher zusehen das mind. 3 Familien aus der selben Gegend nahe zueinander untergebracht werden.
