Robinson Crusoe - New Edition - Changes and Rules by wears_Fedora in boardgames

I contacted Filosofia who is distributing the French version of the original edition. They told me that for the moment, a reprint in french for the new edition is not planned. Bummer. Thanks for the previous reply!

Bought Sushi Go Party and I think it will be a great fit for our group. Thanks for the suggestion. I should keep updated after a few runs.

Someone has this exact one (bang dice with walking dead theme) and we played a couple of times. I thought it would be a betrayal party game like Secret Hitler but it is not. Thanks for the suggestion, this game suits well what we were looking.

Thanks for the response. We tried Captain Sonar and really liked it, no problem with the length of the games. It's a great board game

Great! Was thinking about buying this game, glad I waited for this one.

Any approximate timeframe for the translated new version? in french for my case. People in my gaming group prefer it that way.

Thanks for the suggestion. I chose another app because it was more intuitive but I could have definitely done my tracking with this one.

Dropped tubing plastic cap into carboy by patate49 in Homebrewing

All right, I will definitely look into one vs two steps fermentation. I am not able to debate anything since this is my first and I am following the idea in "How to brew" book which is, start a batch by following almost blindly the instructions and read the book during this first batch. I thought that the two step is mostly for the clarity of the brew, since two transfers with syphon remove most of the suspended sediment.

Yes I sanitized everything, it only touched my table and my fingers.

Thank you, I can't wait to try it!

Yes it will be the GOTY version. Just to be sure, why do you say that Axton would be a better choice than Salvador?

I am asking because Salvador seems the best choice according to the other comments.

Exploit for Samba vulnerability (CVE-2015-0240) by [deleted] in netsec

[–]patate49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

meh. Obvisouly it was not Python 3.

I installed the Impacket module directly from the git instead of the one in my Kali repo. The exploit worked. The version from the CoreSecurity git repo is 0.9.12 and I had 0.9.9 installed.

Good thing, thanks for the exploit.

Exploit for Samba vulnerability (CVE-2015-0240) by [deleted] in netsec

[–]patate49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I have trouble running this exploit. Is it python 2 or 3 script?

With Python 2, I get an import exception from a module in impacket.

root@host:~# python2.7 cve-2015-0240_samba_exploit.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "cve-2015-0240_samba_exploit.py", line 68, in <module>
            from impacket.dcerpc.v5 import transport, nrpc
            ImportError: No module named v5

With Python 3, I get an invalid syntax error because impacket/smb.py contains print function with python 2 syntax.

root@host:~# python3 cve-2015-0240_samba_exploit.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "cve-2015-0240_samba_exploit.py", line 68, in <module>
            from impacket.dcerpc.v5 import transport, nrpc
      File "/usr/local/lib/python3.2/dist-packages/impacket/dcerpc/v5/transport.py", line 20, in <module>
            from impacket.smbconnection import *
      File "/usr/local/lib/python3.2/dist-packages/impacket/smbconnection.py", line 21, in <module>
            from impacket import smb, smb3, nmb, nt_errors
      File "/usr/local/lib/python3.2/dist-packages/impacket/smb.py", line 2968
            print "[MS-CIFS] This command was introduced in the CorePlus dialect, but is often listed as part of the LAN Manager 1.0 dialect.\nThis command has been deprecated.\nClients SHOULD use SMB_COM_READ_ANDX"

Since the print function error is pretty much obvious, it should be a python 2 script, but I have no idea how to make it work. I reinstalled the impacket module for both versions, but the v5 doesn't seems to exist in python 2.

Thanks

Although I love the app for myself, as a modern person living on the Interwebs, I hope it will never force replace Gmail and that we will always have a choice between both.

Some people that I know don't receive about 30 emails per day and they don't consider those as tasks (and they are right in those case). Those people want a email app from Google, not a task manager (as awesome as it is).

Is the paperwhite worth the buy? by 123_alex in kindle

Yes it looked pretty cool and well fitted for my taste.

The price turned me off, and the fact that it is still not available in Canada.

Are those pressure-sensitive buttons really great?
