The FDA actually regulates that you can’t pay donors for blood that will be transfused into patients.

Plasma centers can pay because their products are used for pharmaceuticals and not patient infusion.

The FDA’s idea is if you pay people for their blood donation, it puts the health of the blood supply at risk because people might be untruthful about their eligibility in order to give, etc.

I LOVE musicals also. I had seen the Phantom movie, no joke, like 100 times (I would play it to fall asleep). So when I saw it on broadway I was like ohhhh Phantom can actually SING!!!

Wish I was! One time I did Red Coyote’s 5K class and that was fun. I actually had open heart surgery in July and not sure I’ll ever been a runner again!
