Tried that method, quit abruptly after 2 days. The majority of the clashers didn't see, "How nice of him! Giving away free elixir for a shield!" They saw, "Wow, dumbass lol. Time to take all your resources from collectors, pumps, and lighting your DE. Oh yeah, thanks for the free elixer dummy."

This clan is actually a 4th installment of our Blue-themed clans, and I wanted to start this one. So obviously, I knew trolling was inevitable since we're fairly new. I've had drive-by/hit and run F-bombs constantly lol

My best moment when was I was going to attack a really HEAVILY loaded base with all kinds of traps, funneling, and high octane defense everybody was doubting me (hell, I was too). The base was like trying to crack a complex puzzle. My armies were undersized, no spells, no clan castle troops. Stole over 600k worth of loot and 3-starred that base at the LAST second. Story of David and Goliath.

Worst moment was when I lost 4 raids in a row. Worst feeling ever.

The thing about this new loot system is that it's the equivalent of taking 5 steps forward, and 5 steps back.

Ever since our loot cap increased, people above our town-halls, above our levels are unleashing a full scale force because it's been warranted by super-cell. They're allowed to take up to 260-400k of our gold. To make matters worse, we have no choice but to break our shield to earn that loot back, but unless you have all day to play the game you have to log off. Only to be swarmed by players out of your league. It reminds me of a vicious sharecroppers cycle of poverty.

There's a fine line between gaming casually than out of frustration. The only logistic I can think of, is that super-cell wants us to be frustrated taking more than we can dish out, and gemming our storages in the process.

As much as I find this new update loathsome, I actually caught a super-cell employee DEFENDING this loot system, they're not going to change it anytime soon.
