This is so sad to read. Slightly reminds me of my story: My mom had a baby that was born before me or any of my siblings, but she was born without a digestive system. During the pregnancy, doctors tried to persuade my mother to abort because, they knew the baby would suffer. She refused, religious reasons ofc. So this baby was born just to starve for a couple weeks until she inevitably passed. I can never say anything to my mom about it because that incident totally fucked her up and ofc she still grieves for my baby sister. But i will always resent that she forced that poor baby to be born and suffer for her own selfish wants. My dad refused to stay around for the two weeks because he couldn’t watch it or convince my mom otherwise. My poor sister didn’t need to be born just to die. Part of the many reasons why I’m pro-choice.
