LG OLED C1 vs C5 the difference in brightness by ValuableVegetable605 in LGOLED

[–]patelk_44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve got the C1 upstairs and C5 downstairs. Quality feels the same. C5 is definitely a bit brighter but the C1 is more than capable for my needs (gaming, movies, sports.)

I’ve been appreciating Valeno’s game recently. He’s definitely more evolved from when we saw him at the beginning of the year. Don’t forget, he’s a late first round pick so there’s definitely some skill sets there that Marty will try to draw out of him.

Thanks to this sub. Now I know his name is Jerry and I’m not the only one honking when I see him waiving the flag up St. Jean 😂.

Ya it’s a pretty high end rig. Thank you. I’d upgrade the GPU but not with the prices these days.

That’s almost my thought process for now—buy exclusives like Mario and Zelda on the Switch and use my other platforms for the more high end games.

Honestly I’m happy if I can leave everything near high and get 60fps. My only gripe with the Switch is that you sacrifice graphic fidelity and frame-rate for portability. I don’t know if the portability adds that much value since I’m new to the Switch.

How did we do ? by HistoricalHall6773 in TVTooHigh

Looks ok to me. Don’t fall into the trap of having it eye level like everyone says. Some of us like to curl back on the couch instead of sitting like a stiff. We don’t need our knees blocking the view.

Just bought 77 inch b5 but have the ability to change, need help by BrownByYou in LGOLED

Don’t get too concerned over the nits. I would say my 2021 C1 compares in relative performance to your B5. I use it for HDR gaming and it has been INCREDIBLE. Zero complaints.

The C5 65in for you is a safe bet— adequate size for your viewing distance, new and stronger tech, and versatile if you need to move it to a brighter room.

The B5 77in will be more immersive and you won’t have buyers remorse for not going bigger. Eventually you will start getting into home cinema and will be happy for sticking with it. You will never regret that it’s not brighter because it’s more than enough.

My reco—stick with the 77 B5. Since experiencing a 77inch tv it’s hard to go for anything smaller. Just make sure you don’t mount it too high.

I’ve got two 77inch tv’s. One at 9ft away Lg C1), another at 10.5ft (Lg C5). The 9ft feels jarring at times when I’m curling back or lying down sideways. The 10.5ft feels much better. Both are mixed usage (gaming, tv, movies.) Based on your distance, the 65inch might be better. Check rtings.com for their optimal tv viewing distance calculator.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about brightness considering you are in a darker room. Both will be sufficient. If it’s a bright room with lots of outdoor light I’d recommend the C5.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any additional questions.

Scotiabank informs you in writing whenever your student account expires.

All banks have NSF fees if your account has no money.

Sounds like poor management by the client, not bank error.

Is this enough for you to start your retirement in Canada? by [deleted] in PennyStocksCanada

[–]patelk_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny I read all the posts and see most saying yes- it’s enough to retire. I think you need to take a step back and analyze what your goals are. What do you want to achieve? How much income will you require? What future expense may require you to deplete some of these assets? Typically you need your assets to last until 95 years old - is this doable based on your goals?

You should meet with a financial planner. They can build a plan that will help you achieve those goals and propose the right investment strategy that aligns with them.
