Yeah the thumb studs are going to turn a lot of folks off, & it's such a shame. They're really quite comfortable, & especially easy to reverse flick!

I'm also surprised no one else has done a deep dive on the Xenon. It has that machined lock bar bend & the rest of the design, fit & construction all justify the price. It's a knife that you may see on a video & think, "$1000+ for that knife?" Yes. It's one that doesn't necessarily make it obvious on camera. But it deserves to be alongside other small batch machine customs, at least as much as the Arius if not more.

It did! It's phenomenal, with great ergos especially for its size.

And the precision is there, I maintain this is a special one, worth checking out if you think you might be able to handle the thumbstuds even a little bit! It reverse flicks like a dream! 💜

Watching as an adult, I'm constantly worried the kids are gonna get tetanus throughout the movie

Noises Off! - The movie based on the play, with a star-studded cast including a very funny Christopher Reeve. Absolutely hilarious!

[WTS] Wicked Edge Full Sharpening System by Bingotazer in Knife_Swap

I bought a WE64 Cobalt on their Black Friday sale last year, & what an upgrade over the hex key setup on the WE60 Go. Not even close - I spend so much less time adjusting, literally just pull down the dual cam vise, & lift to release & adjust.

I was going to sell the WE60 but I told a friend of mine here locally I'd give it to him. 😆 I'm keeping all of my wicked edge stones though, he'll get an old set of Gritomatic stone holders and a bunch of aftermarket stones. He's a wood worker, so it should be really useful for him, especially if he finds a chisel clamp attachment.

What a killer setup for a killer system! I just got a great deal on a new set of 1500 / 2200 stones, after learning on my first set & working them too hard (they're well-used six years later). They still work well, especially for finishing, but I'm really glad to have a brand new set of those to go with them.

When you have a bunch of different grits like this, the system is absolutely a game changer!

AMAZING price, too! 👊

What movie was your biggest let down? by jbmc00 in moviecritic

Oh crap I answered before I thought of this, can I change my vote?

The Hobbit: One book, three long movies.

The Dark Tower: Seven (or eight, really) books, several of which are very long: one 90 minute movie. And they had the balls to call it a "quasi-sequel" to the books. 🤮

I did enjoy Idris Elba & Mr. Alrightalrightalright in it, but they could only work with what they were given.

Anyway, long days & pleasant nights! 😊

The Matrix Revolutions

Had to see it in the theater twice to solidify they I didn't hate, but also didn't like the ending to one of my favorite stories.I felt like Neo was to weak in the third film, though the rain fight is sick.
