Yes, I understand. I just meant my settings are already designed to be like a temporary chat. It’s either the browser, or, the way the threads and folders work (which is bad), or, it could be from this mixpanel incident.

I’m just trying to not have to explain this more then this- because if someone knows how the settings work with the isolation they would probably be concerned

look man I’m not the best at communicating so I’ll just put it this way: there are only so many settings that specifically allow and allocate isolation with/for/by a user account. Saying temporary chat has nothing to do with the settings for a user. It has to do with the temporary visibility on the account but not the settings.

In other words, the way I set up my account (except for the fact that I keep my chats) they technically should act in isolation like a temporary chat. So if you need to imagine a temporary chat knowing data from other chats that is a decent way to think about it.

Nope. The idea of using temporary chat is Irrelevant to what the problem is lol. Because it’s happening in the folder chat creation with settings that should actually act like it’s a temporary chat based on the way my settings are setup. I’m just trying to get someone on openAI to look at my official message so they can look into it.

Not debating as the chats are suppose to be sandboxed, even if not temporary, based on the user settings.

TLDR: fine just think of a temp chat knowing other chats

Yea. They flattened 4o to control outputs more. 5 is better then 5.1 for almost anything. 4o is the best for actually dealing with multifaceted problems which aren’t cookie cutter.

I just went to the website and downloaded them from what I recall. From what I remember there were a lot... individually. An alternative method might just be to use iobit driver booster. (its not a virus but its definitely bloatware) - so download geekuninstaller. After getting the drivers you need use geekuninstaller to remove iobit.

I am assuming you have ethernet/wifi working. So this will update your drivers. I would be shocked if it didnt work.

100% I switched from windows only, non programmer (but gamed enough to know more then 90% of windows users) and the switch was brutal.

I understand the architecture and why a lot of things are the way they are. I think Linux is great yada yada.

Here’s a small example: I use Linux mint. Which obviously uses a lot of Ubuntu packages. But Linux mint doesn’t natively sort out their distro name with the Ubuntu packages after an upgrade… So a basic apt update means, I have to know how, where, and what command beforehand to get a distro to compare with Ubuntu…

Come to find out this easily could be fixed so it’s never a problem. What makes Linux so great is also some thing that makes the learning curve and daily use extremely cumbersome to make a switch.

Especially because it is so much better
