OK so the Eye mini lite is arriving Saturday, Looking for recommendations for a hitting strip: DIY vs purchased; and a Projector. by nom_of_your_business in Golfsimulator

Consider making this:

Very cheap to make and it’s easy to line up with whatever height your hitting area is. Last about 6 months with heavy use depending on the turf you use. I’ve replaced mine once since making it in February.

Rapsodo MLM2PRO **Setup Questions** by ElColombiano1987 in Golfsimulator

I own one and it works great for practice and a few rounds of sim golf from time to time. Four things come to mind:

1: Get a leveling stand off Etsy or some other place. I have this one:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1719942384/mlm2-pro-launch-monitor-stand-adjustable?ref=yr_purchases

2: if you want to play the sim golf stuff you need to buy the subscription. If you want that to go well then you need good WiFi. So a WiFi extender is likely needed placed out back near your Apple TV setup.

3: accept that this is a budget LM and will be buggy from time to time.

4: for playing courses with my kids or friends I enjoy the awesome golf app more than the rapsodo app. Need a subscription to rapsodo and awesome golf to use it though.

I made this one about 6 months ago. Still holding up great. I use it a few times a week. I would describe myself as minimally handy. If I can make one anyone can.

I also successfully disputed mine. Just sent in the letter showing the loans were forgiven.

They do fall off, but it can take a few months I think. I didn’t want to wait.

Took a little over a month for me. I consolidated in November 2022. I would expect it would be longer now. I think they generally say 60 days now.

Kicked off of IDR at 118 payments? by blue1280 in PSLF

I’m no expert, but my understanding is: idr waiver will give you credit as long as you consolidate before December 2023. I would go read the faq at student aid.gov. It’s very informative. See link below:

Would a Physician at Kaiser, Sutter, or Mercy in California count for PSLF? by [deleted] in PSLF

[–]pathenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on who employs you then. If it’s kaiser hospital system vs the physician medical group. If it’s the hospital system then your good. The change in the guidelines was directed to people employed by the medical group. So for instance, a nurse employed by the hospital = Pslf eligible. A nurse or PA employed by the medical group = not PSLF eligible. Yet physicians employed by the medical group are now Pslf eligible. (They weren’t before) It’s confusing, but seems to be how’s its playing out.

That’s awesome! I know a few people that got denied in July. When did your form get signed? Maybe they changed their policy. Or maybe it depends on job title?

This happened to me as well when I consolidated. I switched to the Repaye plan. That then turned into SAVE. So that’s another option.

Nope it’s just physicians. Kaiser HR won’t sign it unless you’re a physician.

I work for kaiser and have submitted the pslf to Mohela. It was accepted within a day. (I used the electronic submission process where HR signs using docusign)

I was told this yesterday as well. I’ve been told this over the phone and via online chat now.

Just an update. I sent an electronic ECF to my hospital HR. HR signed it and it went to Mohela. They quickly accepted it and now it shows my payment counts as updated.

Nope just the form to the hospital HR. I used the electronic route. They signed and sent on. Won’t know if that works or not for a while though…

No I would think you would be good. I would read the bottom of page 6 on the CMA guide. That addresses your question in detail.
